Collages/Cooperations
These collages were created together with photographer Gaetan Lepage for the 48-Hour Neukölln exhibition in Berlin. The first collage hosts a cut - up photo of people in a confined space with mirrors glued into the desert backdrop of Wadi Rum in Jordania.: Confined city life vs. free space.
The second collage confronts us with the dangers of industrially prepared food. |
Still-life

"A Royal Welcome". Painted on wood, exploring the technique of old masterpainters. 30x42 cm.
A piece of an empire has its price. The pomegranate has always been a symbol of rulers, just as the dagger implies damoclean danger and the means by which power is often enforced. Hopefully some tea will keep the king alert and civilised ;-).
